S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Clear Sky release date revealed

GSC Game World and Koch Media have confirmed that S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Clear Sky, the stand-alone prequel for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, will be going on sale for PC on August 29th. It has been previously reported that the game engine is being updated to v1.5 for the game and will likely include DirectX 10 support as a result. The AI is also set to receive an overhaul to accommodate the new “faction wars” feature.

“The topic of the release date for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky has created a lot of interest among gamers, press and fans. We’re pleased to announce an exact date for this highly anticipated game now,” said Dr. Klemens Kundratitz, Managing Director of Koch Media.
