Sony Sell Their Euro HQ In Berlin
Regretfully, the end has come for Sony, and it seems Nintendo and Microsoft has finally won. Okay, maybe we are going a bit over the top, it not that bad really. In fact, it’s not bad news for the company at all, as it is been reported that Sony has just sold all its shares in Sony Berlin, the company which owns and operates the Sony Center am Potsdamer Platz office and entertainment complex in the city. Reuters comment that Sony have apparently made a cool $1billion from the sale, and have already incorporated that money into their forecast for the current fiscal year.
According to Google Earth this is the building that is being sold. We have to say that we’ve never heard of it before, but it’s supposed to be a significant landmark in Berlin, attracting over 8 million visitors per year.
