Sony put June date on inFamous, demo coming

Over on their official blog, Sony have dated inFamous, commenting that it will be a June release for the company. inFamous is the latest game from Sucker Punch Productions, who are best known for their rather awesome Sly Cooper franchise during the PS2 days.

The game sees you play as Cole McGrath, a bike messenger who gets electricity-based powers after getting caught up in a huge explosion. With these powers, you take on various missions, with the game giving you options to be a hero or an anti-hero. The direction you take things will affect how the game plays out.

In the blog update, Sony also said details on “when and how a demo will be released” will be available shortly. Maybe we are reading too much into this, but when they say “how” it hints GameStop may have done a similar deal with SCEA like they did with Killzone 2 for a demo exclusive. This should not matter for Europe though.

Reminder, this is inFamous, not Prototype. Surly I am not the only ones that keeps getting confused?
