The worst kept secret in gaming has now been confirmed. Sony have suffered from premature information, and it’s now a certainty that at their E3 conference, they will be announcing the new PSP Go.
The early reveal came from Sony’s online magazine Qore, next week’s issue of which was posted on YouTube, and quickly pulled. But not before the details had been plastered all over the internets.
The major info is as follows:
It seems that Sony doesn’t view the PSP Go as a replacement for the PSP-3000, and intends them to run alongside each other. The new handheld will be released in Autumn of this year, but Sony will still continue to support the ‘classic’ PSP for the forseeable future.
No word has been seen on the pricing of this new PSP yet, but Sony’s conference on Tuesday should contain all the information we need.
