Saboteur, Pandemic’s WWII shooter, slips to 2009, maybe 2010

Saboteur, a game set during World War II (oh my god that’s a novel idea!), not to be confused with the 1985 game of the same name which was released for several 8-bit home computer formats by Durell Software, is now set to be released 2009/10 – slipping far away from its previous late 2008 release date.

According to EA, they have decided to give Pandemic more time to work on the game, with the official word being the game has slipped fiscal year 2010 – that means between 1st April 2009 and 31st March 2010 if you did not take Business Studies classes.

Not much is known about the game yet, but Pandemic has said that exploring the city of Paris and some of the surrounding countryside will play a big part in the game. Use of colour will be a key-element to, with Okami cited as a influence. Hope also plays a part in the game, with all character having a “Will to fight” factor that can go up or down.
