It has been revealed that not all of your favourite characters will be appearing in the upcoming film based on the Street Fighter franchise. Both Ryu and Ken will be some the big names that will be absent.
“There are just way too many characters in the Street Fighter universe to cram them all into one film,” said producer Patrick Aiello in his latest blog post. “We want to do each one the justice he/she deserves. So, in short, Ken and Ryu will not be appearing in this film. But, that doesn’t mean we wont see our red and white-clad heroes in potential sequels…”
The blog post goes onto comment that the film will be “realistic, gritty, dramatic” this time round, and because of this they will not be putting Bison in a “bright red suit and captain’s hat with a pair of humongous shoulder pads.” Apparently, something like this “works great in the videogame, but in real life, it just wouldn’t look intimidating.”
As you most likely already know Chun Li will be the star of the film this time round, and for Kristin Kreuk it is probably the greatest day of her life. For me it was Tuesday.

Pretty disappointing seeing that they are huge parts of what SF stands for, but then again hollywood does not look at video games the same way as the consumer.
As for Kristin Kreuk, I dont know if her thighs are big enough.
