Red Steel 2 adopts Western style, will use Wii MotionPlus

The latest issue of the US based Nintendo Power magazine has confirmed that Red Steal 2 will adopt Wii MotionPlus, which will hopefully improve the games sword wielding elements. Can’t be much worse than last time anyway.

The magazine also gives a first look at the game, showcasing a new Old West setting, which looks much nicer than the modern setting of the first title.  Some reports cite that the futuristic armour inlays on the back of the main character’s jacket hint more could be going on than we initially expect – perhaps a sci-fi/Western genre mash-up of sorts.
