Ratchet Clank Hd Trilogy

Ratchet and Clank HD Collection releasing in Europe in two weeks; US possibly June 27th?

Today’s tweet of the day belongs to Insomniac, who has just announced it’s releasing the long-awaiting Ratchet and Clank HD collection before the end of June in Europe.

The official release date for Europe has been confirmed as “hitting . . . on June 29th.” Two weeks is awfully close, and it makes the upcoming release seem that much sooner.

As for the US? Insomniac promises more details soon – “And for those asking about the North American release of the R&C HD Collection, it’s coming later this summer, details soon.” Interestingly, on the official YouTube page announcing the trilogy’s release, there’s a note that says, “Enjoy three of the most popular PlayStation 2 hits together in one intergalactic collection. The Ratchet & Clank Trilogy will soon touch down on PlayStation 3, remastered in laser-sharp High Definition and amazing stereoscopic 3D with full PlayStation Network trophy support.” And there’s this last bit – “Available from 27th June 2012.”

If Europe’s seeing the release on June 29th, the YouTube video might have just outed the game as arriving on US shores two days earlier. That’s less than two weeks, and we couldn’t be more excited. What we know is that whenever it gets here, it can’t be soon enough.
