Rare Confirm New Additions For Viva Pinata DS

It seems we had quite a good guess yesterday when we pondered what new features Viva Piñata DS would bring to the table. In fact, we lie we just nailed a few of the most obvious ones, the ones we hoped they’d put it, and thankfully it seems they have. Yes, today Rare, on their official site, have confirmed that the DS version of one of their greatest game in years will be adding a sandbox mode, a selection of Wi-Fi options for the swapping of piñatas (we got that one!), a journal and encyclopaedia to keep track of the piñata zaniness, more piñatas than the original, and stylus control which will allow you to directly control your piñatas (we got that one too) – you know you want to touch them!

Fortunately, all things considered, the game is looking like it will make a great conversion over to the DS right now. So hopefully the good form continues and we get a great portable version of Viva Piñata down the line, and to add to that we hope it sells bucketloads, it deserves it!
