Kotaku, who have a presence at Comic-Com, are reporting that Microsoft have announced that they will be bringing over the foil-wrapped chocolate coin gardening goodness of Viva Piñata to the DS, yes the first one, not the collection of party games that is Party Animal. The site reports that the DS version will follow on from the original idea dreamt up by Tim Stamper but will play from new top-down perspective suited to the DS.
Along with that we predict it will also gain some stylus controls, along with the possibility of some Wi-Fi trading options, which would be nice. We also predict the game may sell a hell of a lot better on the DS as, unfortunately, it fell a bit by the wayside on the 360, which was a pity as there is quite a compelling game beneath all that vivid colour!
Halo DS is just around the corner now, seriously!
