Race Pro is apparently a broken mess online

The Atari published Race Pro, which should be just going on sale across the UK as you read this (on Feb 20th), is reported to have a huge amount of online niggles. Reports come from German gamers, who got the game a day early.

Xboxfront.de, whose staff nabbed a copy early, report the problems include nasty “dropped connections during gaming sessions,” along with other “glitches that make it possible to manipulate online games.” These glitches are said to be nasty enough to make “it’s possible to drive around the circuits in a fraction of the ‘normal’ time.”

Maybe the problems will fix themselves on the day the game is officially released, or maybe SimBin will have to start working on a patch very quickly.
