Activision today confirmed that their first person shooter Quake 4 will release with the Xbox 360 on the 22nd of November, in fact Like Kameo; Quake 4 will actually ship to stores before the console release, shipping on the 18th of November. The bulk of Quake 4 will be exactly as the PC version was; with you controlling Matthew Kane and his troops as they are sent Stroggos to slaughter the Stroggs, Quake 4 also features a multiplayer mode that will support up to 8 players on Xbox Live.
Quake 4 will ship with some bonuses for hardcore Quake fans, including a re-engineered version of Quake II that supports four-player co-op and eight-player head-to-head action. Behind-the-scenes footage of the making of the game is thrown in for good measure. Quake 4 was developed by Raven Software and over seen by id Software.
Quake 4 is scheduled to launch with the Xbox 360 in Europe on the 2nd of December.
