Yep, you read that right. The chaps over at Fileplanet are offering Midway’s action/shooter Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy, for free. Released back in 2003, it got a fair few favourable reviews, but didn’t really set the world on fire at retail. We reckon it’s worth playing purely because you can stand on a box and use your telekinesis power to fly around on it. Plus you can set men on fire, then throw them around the room. WITH YOUR BRAIN. If you’ve ever played Free Radical’s Second Sight, think of Psi-Ops as its mentally-damaged but incredibly athletic and excitable twin. It’s brilliant.
The free version is ad-supported, but if that really bothers you, you can probably pick up the PS2 version for about three quid in the pre-owned section of your local Gamestation anyway. So, get to it.

Ace! I’ll download that later. I’d highly recommend checking this out. It is old but it was one of my favourite games on the Xbox.
