PS3 video service details coming tomorrow?

The LA Times recently ran an article on the PS3, its download services and possible ideas the company may have for the mysterious, little talked about download video service that could soon be available on the console. The article details many possible directions the company could go if they chose to allow movies and TV shows downloads on the PS3, commenting that it could even be available as “early as this summer.”

More interestingly, hidden away in the middle of the article comes details that Sony could soon be ready to reveal details of the service to the public, maybe even as soon as tomorrow (April 22nd) if the article is to be believed. “PlayStation marketing chief acknowledged the initiative and promised more details soon in a post Tuesday on the Inside PlayStation Network blog.” comments the LA Times.

Hopefully the service will end up much better than the disasters that Movielink and Sony Connect were for the company.
