Prototype guys to move onto Spiderman when they’re done
The Cut Scene’s Ben Fritz reports that once Radical Entertainment are done with development on the upcoming Prototype, Activision will be moving them on to work on the Spiderman games. The franchise should be a good fit for the developer, as Prototype is basically Spiderman without the tight Lycra suit. Also, lets not forget that Radical also worked on The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction a few years back, so they have some good experience in making games based around superheroes.
Fritz also reports that High Moon Studios, who developed The Bourne Conspiracy in 2008 will be moved on to work on the Transformers franchise. Their first game will be released in 2010, and will not be connect to a movie this time round.
These two studios only recently came under the Activision umbrella, and were part of Vivendi Games until the rather big merger happened a year or so back.
