In an interview with the Wii arm of AMN Nintendo’s Beth Llewelyn, senior director of public relations, has confirmed that Project H.A.M.M.E.R. development has been put on hold. The game was first announced at last years E3 show and showed basic gameplay which involved a guy with a big hammer going round hitting things, the main enemy was a collection of killer robots who were attacking major cities across the United States.
In the interview AMN posed the question, why are games like Disaster and Project H.A.M.M.E.R. not being shown, to which Beth Llewelyn promptly replied “we shifted development resources. However, Disaster: Day of Crisis is still in development and coming along nicely.” So is Project H.A.M.M.E.R. canceled AMN inquired. “Development resources have been shifted for the time being, but it may come back. But right now, it’s not a focus of ours.” Llewelyn replied.
