Portal, The Simpsons and Scooby Doo Confirmed for LEGO Dimensions

After reporting on the likely inclusion of the Portal Gun in LEGO Dimensions last week, we recently heard that retailer Walmart included not only Portal but Scooby Doo and The Simpsons in their listings (which were then quickly pulled).

This confirms not only the inclusion of Portal and The Simpsons in the game, but also levels to support these two massive franchises. With those levels will come gadgets used by each protagonist. The Portal Gun is a shoe-in but what exactly Homer and Bart will wield is another matter.

The listings also included characters packs for Chima, Scooby Doo and Jurassic World, further extending the reach of the game to a wide audience. With the full line-up of characters for LEGO Dimensions starting to take shape it’s looking like a very impressive first step into the toys to life market for Warner.

Time will tell how Disney Infinity and Skylanders respond to the new-comer.

LEGO Dimensions releases on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U on September 29.
