PlayStation Now Available in the UK… Now

According to the PlayStation Blog PS Now is available in the UK. PS Now is usable on PS4, PS3, PS Vita, and a whole range of Sony Bravia TVs.

What is this Now you speak of? Well for £12.99 a month PlayStation Now allows you to stream over 100 games straight to whichever device you choose to use it with. There’s popular games too such as The Last of Us, Killzone 3, or Ico HD, although currently gamers can only stream games from the PS3s line-up, hopefully it will eventually be expanded to include PS1 and PS2 games.

You’ll be able to play Ico HD thanks to Now.

It can basically be summed up as the Netflix of gaming, it even has a free trial although unlike Netflix Now’s trial only lasts seven days. The advantage of having a trial is that it allows you to check if your internet connection can actually handle the streaming of full games, Sony recommends a minimum connection speed of 5mbps, although make sure to cancel when you trial is up if you’re not interested in continuing the service or you will be charged.
