ParaWorld Developer Closes Down

Sunflowers, the publisher of the recently released ParaWorld and a leading producer of video games in German speaking markets – apparently, has announced they have ended their working partnership with ParaWorld developer SEK. “The industry press awarded ParaWorld very high marks and the feedback from the community was also extremely positive. However, ParaWorld is lagging far behind the sales expectations.” said Adi Boiko, Sunflowers President. “There is no sequel planned for the moment, and the title will not transfer to any other platforms.”

SEK has now closed its doors and locked up shop which makes the release of the previously announced ParaWorld booster/expansion pack highly uncertain to ever be released. Sunflowers has stated on its website that together with its distribution partners it is “evaluating the possibilities of publishing” the expansion.
