Original Max Payne games on the way to Xbox Originals

The ESRB have updated the Max Payne listing on their webpage to include Xbox 360 versions of both the original Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne; which were first released in 2001 and 2003 respectively.

Usually when such an update is made, it means the company involved are likely to release the mentioned games on either XBLA or Xbox Originals somewhere down the line.

Like always, no specific mention of Xbox Originals or XBLA is made in the rating, but seeing as a disc based re-release is unlikely, you could bet Rockstar will release it on one of the Xbox Live download services.

The franchise has seen a lot of activity recently, with a new Max Payne game announced recently, and a big screen adaptation released a few months back.
