One Wii Friend Code To Rule Them All

If there was on criticism gamers hit the DS with it is those damn Friend Codes… sure they are a okay way to go online and it is “Safe – Easy – Free” as Nintendo like to say but unlike their name they are anything but a friendly service. Thankfully it now seems confirmed that things are going to change when the Wii hits.

Matt over at IGN is reporting that Wii will use a one-time-only friend code which will reduce a hell of a lot of hassle when compared to the DS… he states “you are not going to be entering friend codes with each one of your games.” It great news – although maybe not as good as the 360′s online offering but it’s free!
