Noby Noby Boy and a ton of EA games coming to iPhone

Yet more iPhone news from the Game Developers Conference has emerged. Katamari Damacy creator, Keita Takahashi, revealed today at his GDC panel that he has been working on an iPhone version of currently PSN-only title Noby Noby Boy for about a week now.
He hopes that the mobile version of the game will also contribute to the collaborate growth of Girl, which at it’s current rate will take 820 years to connect the entire solar system.
In regards to pricing, Takahashi mentioned that the iPhone version could even be offered for free, although he’d be mad not to charge something.
Another announcement at the Mobile event of GDC came from Travis Boatman, Vice-President of worldwide studios at EA Mobile. He announced a number of EA franchises that would be coming to the iPhone including SSX, Wolfenstein RPG, Red Alert, FIFA 10, Madden 10, NBA Live 10, American Idol, Spore Creatures, Clue, Risk, Mystery Mania, Connect Four, Battleship, Tiger Woods and Star Trek.
Let’s hope these are well thought out versions that make good use of the iPhone’s unique strengths. It seems that iPhone gamers will be spoilt for choice very soon…
