No new Bizarre Creations racer till 2009

Ever since Activision bought Bizarre Creations in September of last year it was wondered what exactly the studio would develop for the publisher. Well, today a small bit of solid info was released as part of Activision recent conference call.

It looks like the studio is currently developing two separate games, however it seems we will have to wait until at least at least the start of fiscal 2010 (which starts April 2009) to get our hands on one of those titles.

Bizarre is deep in development on two multi-platform titles and we are looking forward to the release of our first new racing IP in fiscal 2010, which already looks very strong” Michael J. Griffith, President & Chief Executive Officer at Activision commented during the meeting.

He also praised Bizarre by remarking that he believed they were a “premiere developer of racing games with a consistent track record of breakthrough quality

I hope it’ll be better than PGR4…. that was a bit of a dissapointment for me. The only difference between 3 and 4 was the addition of Bikes and weather! Most of my mates have traded it in and kept PGR3!
