New Xbox One Bundle and Controller Announced
Over on Major Nelson’s blog Xbox have just unveiled the new Xbox One Elite bundle. The new Elite console will have an all over matte black finish and a brand new 1TB Solid State Hybrid Drive which will allow games to boot 20% faster than before. This is because the new hard drive saves frequently used files on a solid state partition and optimizes system performance to allow you access to them faster from the Xbox One’s energy saving mode. The new bundle will launch in North America on the 3rd of November but there’s no release date for Europe at the moment. The bundle is exclusively available from GameStop and Microsoft Stores and you can pre-order it right now for $499. Wait why does it cost $100 more than the regular Xbox One? Well not only does it get you into the action faster than the regular Xbox One with its improved hard drive but it’s also bundled with the new Xbox Elite Wireless Controller, which would set you back $149.99 on its own anyway.
Major Nelson’s blog also announced the Xbox One Special Edition Lunar White Wireless Controller. This new controller is mainly white with gold on the triggers and d-pad, it also comes with all the recent updates to the Xbox One controller such as the headphone jack. The Lunar White controller is available exclusively from GameStop and will cost you $64.99 sometime late this September.
