New PSP breaks 140,000 in four days in Japan

After its recent release in Japan on October 16th, the new PSP-3000 has hit 141,270 units sold in its first four days. The older PSP-1000 and PSP-2000 units also continued to sell well during the 13th October to 19th period with 155,720 units sold. All these fantastic numbers bring the number of PSP’s sold in Japan to 10,357,481.

Sony boast that the PSP-3000 is much brighter and vivid than before, offering crisper colours with more intensity along with less glare when you’re out in natural light.
