In advance of the Crash Course DLC which will be released tomorrow, the list of 10 new achievements unlockable in the new campaign have been revealed. The heavily Versus-focused list is as follows:
- Crash-proof - Survive the Crash Course Campaign – 15G
- Quick Power – Restart the generator within 30 seconds of it shutting off – 25G
- The Littlest Genocide – Kill 5,359 Infected in the Crash Course Campaign – 25G
- Smash Hit – Win a Versus Campaign of Crash Course – 25G
- 20 Car Pile-up – As a Tank hit 20 Survivors with a car – 20G
- Jumpin’ Jack Smash – Pounce a Survivor for 25 points of damage – 25G
- Slippery Pull – Smoker pull a bile-covered Survivor until you hold him – 25G
- Tank Stumble – Stun a Tank with an explosion – 20G
- Wipefest – Your team incapacitates three Survivors within five seconds – 35G
- Truck Stop – Your team wipes all Survivors after the escape vehicle has opened – 35G
It must be noted that all of these achievements can only be gained in the Crash Course Campaign, so don’t be disappointed if you lick up a vomit-covered Survivor in Death Toll and don’t get an achievement.
But let’s be honest, if you’re a fan of Left 4 Dead (and everyone should be), why wouldn’t you be getting this DLC tomorrow?

As excited as I am to play this this weekend, I’m dissapointed with how valve has updated the game last week. Each team now has different occurances of tanks and second teir weapons, and you can spawn in cupboards and be trapped (you can no longer break out).
It’s the biggest mistep i’ve ever known Valve to do, so I hope this doesn’t cast a doubt on L4D2.
These achievements look to give Crash Course a grand welcome to the servers.

Agreed. This latest update made things more unpredictable, but not in a good way… In an unfair way.
Funny how we still managed to win, despite it being unbalanced against us though..
Anyway, I’m fairly sure that Valve will either reverse this patch or make other improvements with the advent of the DLC that will make this update make sense.

Sweet! Can’t wait to get stuck into another campaign on this! Shame Micro$oft are making us pay for it though!

thanks for the update !
I just wish microsoft won’t charge for stuff, that is free else where.
I remember them saying they wouldn’t charge for stuff that was free on other platforms ??
What happen to that policy ?? Think we have forgot Microsoft ?? Far from it I won’t be buying it for the time being. I may just end up waiting for left for dead !
I’ll just keep playing fire fight for now !
