Naughty Dog founders start up Monkey Gods studio

Gamasutra report that Jason Rubin, Andrew Gavin and Jason Kay of Naughty Dog are teaming to form a new dev studio called Monkey Gods.

Don’t expect some huge high-profile game like Uncharted or Jak and Daxter to come from the studio though, as they will mostly focus on casual games initially. Their first games will be Monkwerks, a multiplayer word challenge game for the iPhone, and an iPhone version of Snood, a game which was released on PC a while back.

Games for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Nintendo Wii are promised in the future.
