Anyone that downloaded Mr. Driller Online early last month, and then tried to play the game online will most likely have encountered a few problems. In fact, those who actually managed to get online for any sustained period of time were very lucky as the games seemed to be continually plagued by crippling lag at all times.
However, it seems this will now come to an end, as Namco has revealed they’ll be releasing a free patch for the game before the end of May. The company have not revealed if there will be any new content in the patch, or if it will be just a fix for the technical issues the game has had.
Regardless, some may think it is too little too late to restore any faith in the online portion of the game.
