Movie studios battling for unannounced Dante’s Inferno game from EA

Variety report that up to four separate movie studios, including heavy hitters such as Universal, Paramount and MGM, are already causing a huge raucous to grab film rights for a brand new videogame from Electronic Arts – a game that has not even been publicly announced yet.

The game will reportedly go by the name Dante’s Inferno, and will have ties to the crazy long poem of the same name, albeit with a modern twist, letting players journey through the depths of hell.

However, EA refuse to even acknowledge the game as of yet, so we have no idea what developer is attached, or what genre the game will sit in.
