Microsoft sorts out overbilling for Braid, refunds and extra points for those affected

Microsoft has revealed that some Xbox Live customers who purchased Braid back in February, when it was discounted as part of their Deal of the Week promotion, will be getting an extra 500 points back in their account.

The reason behind this somewhat generous move is because of a technical glitch that saw some people getting overbilled for the game – getting charged a full 1200 Microsoft Points instead of “deal” of 800MP.

The 500MP amount comes from Microsoft crediting the 400 points back to affected users, plus an extra 100 points to say sorry for the mistake.
