MGS4 ‘Steel’ PS3 is not made of plastic

We have been giving the latest Kojima Productions Report a listen, as it usually has some interesting information as we walk the long road on the way to the release of Metal Gear Solid 4. This week as usual we were not disappointed as we noticed during the podcast a mention that the Steel PS3 we reported on earlier that will launch with MGS4 is not made of plastic like a normal PS3.

Yes, it may sound very weird, as we expect it to be just a normal PS3 with a different colour but during the podcast Ryan Payton commented that the console will in fact be made out of some other kind of material, but regretfully did not go into further details on the matter.

It can’t be made out of metal can it? What about wood? Maybe it’s boron? Yes boron that’s it!
