Mega Man 9 also coming to XBLA/PSN

Aboard the giant rollercoaster that is Mega Man 9 many thought the game was exclusive to Wiiware. However, this does not seem to be true anymore, as in a recent update to their site IGN has commented that the game will be coming to other platforms as well.

“Mega Man 9 will also release for Xbox Live and PlayStation Network respectively. No, it’s not a WiiWare exclusive, but nevertheless, it’s going to make an excellent addition to the libraries of all three consoles,” comments their latest article.

The site also reports Mega Man 1 and Mega Man 2 will grace the Virtual Console soon, apparently unaware that us Europeans have had access to them for ages already.
