Mass Effect PC can only be activated 3 times

As part of what seem to be an ever continuing effort to give legitimate consumers a hard time it has been revealed that Mass Effect PC will use the same SecuROM online activation system that Bioshock used last year. As a result players can only activate their copy of Mass Effect 3 times before being forced to ring a helpline to get it to work again. Worse still, the game will demand to contact activation servers to re-authenticate itself every ten days, which means should you go too long without playing when connected to the internet the game will end up unplayable.

Mass Effect is set to arrive on the PC 28th. Will you buy it now?
