Marvel Vs Capcom 2 trailer shown, PSN/XBLA release confirmed

After much rumouring both Marvel and Capcom have released a trailer for Marvel vs Capcom 2, thus confirming it is really real. The trailer reveals that the game will be coming to both PSN and XBLA as a downloadable title, and will have online options available.

No solid info was given on the game yet, but Marvel say to expect “more information in the coming months,” so don’t be expecting a surprise release anytime soon.

This is not the first time MvC2 has hit consoles. The game was previously available on both Dreamcast and PlayStation 2 in 2002, and on the Xbox in 2003. The game is however most well known for taking people for a ride during its release in arcades in 2000.
