Marvel Vs Capcom 2 coming to PS3/360
A new rating on the ESRB website, which was located by the snooping people of NeoGAF, has found out that Marvel Vs Capcom 2 will be making its way to Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 in the future. The site states the game was rated Teen because it contains “Blood, Suggestive Themes, and Violence.”
After that the site remarks that game will be available on “PlayStation 2, Xbox, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3”
If you are a fan, then you will probably already know that the game has been available on Xbox, and PlayStation since 2002, but the fact that it is coming to both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 is very exciting, as it means the game should be getting a new HD lick of paint.
No news if it is a disc based release, or a download via XBLA and PSN as of yet. A download is probably the most likely though.

Am i the only one who thinks that maybe it’s listed like that because of B.C. i’ve see them listed as for the PS3 And 360 before, and obviously they are not out for them, so i dont know but just something to keep in mind and not get to excited.

Love Marvel vs Capcom games especially the first one.
But seriously, fighters are not good to play online, because thrash players always find a way to exploit the damn game and character’s move.
Just like Soul Calibur 4 that was supposed to be a good game, people button bash the crap out of it. The same goes Dead Or Alive 4, a fast paced game, yet all people do online is block and exploit combo moves.
Now MvC2, all thrash players will ever do is spam the character switch button :/
We’ll just see how this turns out, I may be getting it in the end, maybe for the achievement though.

I don’t think it will happen. It already came out for PS2 and Xbox, but they didn’t write about the Dreamcast version (it was the first version that came out). Probably just a mistake someone made on that website.

I think capcom should release all of its previous PS2 & PS1 beat em up releases for the PS3. I hope the forthcoming CAPCOM PLAYSTATION STORE isnt a rumour and if it is true i hope it has all previous SF VERSIONS.
Otherwise the none backwards compatible 40 gig and 80 gig PS3’s are pretty useless pieces of junk for the old skool beat em up fans who make up the majority (not you teeny poppers). Its time for the old skool games to meet the next gen consoles. i dont even care if the games are non HD.
If this doesn’t happen i will trade my PS3 for a PS2 and get some real CAPCOM fighting games. Ok i know that street fighter IV is on the horizon, but after playing the ARCADE, it doesnt have the skill and depth of previous SF versions. Its very user friendly, and i dont need that because I am like many, the generation that played the original SF AND SF2 WE NEED A PROGRESSION.
PLEASE PLAYSTATION NETWORK GIVE US EUROPEANS THE CAPCOM STORE WITH ALL SF2 VERSIONS. SNK ARE RELEASING ALL PREVIOUS SNK GAMES FOR PS2, SO WHY CANT CAPCOM DO THE SAME FOR PS3?
