of course. at least the series gives me something to reply with when i have to listen to the nintendo fanboy at work rant on about how microsoft and sony just copy nintendo, who apparently do nothing but innovate.

Nintendo has announced that Mario Party 8 (how did we get to eight so quick?) will be appearing on European shelves on 22nd June. If you have been living under a giant rock for the past few years then we should explain that Mario Party is virtual board game combined with mini-gamers that is beast played with friends - up to three of them would be perfect infact. This version will also be going online should friends be in short supply or be to drunk to understand.
Current confirmed mini-games come with the intresting names Skiing Double, Arts and Spacecrafts, For Heaven's Shake, Magic Target Ride, Flag Team, Lasso and Fro and Armed Scrubbery so you can let your mind wander and wonder what they will be like to play.
Speaking of Mario... we'd be much happier if a certain flatter version of the plumber got released in Europe before he bothered to party about anything. Come on Nintendo what is taking so long!
