Madden NFL 13 quarterback ratings released

EA Sports has just released the quarterback ratings for Madden NFL 13, and they’re as expected except for one interesting oversight. Alex Smith, from the San Fransisco 49ers, is listed below rookie quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts, Andrew Luck. The rookie is heralded as the best quarterback prospect since Peyton Manning, but I wonder how Smith must feel after leading his team to the NFC championship game, only to be upended by a player who’s yet to take an actual snap in the league. Beyond that, the top five are the usual suspects, except that Eli, and his brother, is in the number four spot. Leading the way is Aaron Rodgers, a player who led his team through the regular season.
