Lost Odyssey TGS Video Footage

Mistwalker/Microsoft’s second title shown at the Tokyo Game Show was that of Lost Odyssey. The title which until now has taken a back seat to Blue Dragon, has turned up looking fantastic, with the CGI intro blending perfectly into the gameplay.

Due out in 2007, you take on the role of a man who cannot die, adding an unusual twist on the turn based RPG scene. From the footage it appears to be a mature Final Fantasy type adventure. A fantastic story and score are promised, and if this introduction is anything to go by, then 2007 may see the year that Microsoft’s fortunes turn around in Japan.
