Lost and Damned sets Live revenue records

Recession? What recession? It seems the Grand Theft Auto IV expansion Lost and Damned has set massive new Xbox Live revenue records after only its first day on sale.

According to Microsoft, reported by Kotaku, the expansion has “eclipsed first-day revenue for all previous downloadable content on Xbox LIVE“. That means we all spent more money buy it that anything else during it’s first day of availability on the service – even surpassing the awesomeness that was horse armour.

How much money did it make though? Well, MS won’t release these figures regretfully, so we’ll never know the exact number.

They would say that wouldn’t they, no-one would want to think they’d spent a stupid amount of money (can’t remember how much now) only to get no return on that investment. Typical Micro$oft…..
