LittleBigPlanet not delayed, Zavvi and Asda wrong

As some of you may have noticed both Asda and Zavvi have recently changed their date for the Euro release of LittleBigPlanet, with the game now bearing a November 14 date instead of the October 24th date we’ve all being expecting.
Normally a site changing a release date is not something to report on, but seeing as both retailers are completely separate entities it is definitely something to peak you interest.
If this date was true, that would means the game had been shoved back a whole 3 weeks, which is enough to make you want to strangle a Sackboy with your bare hands.
Thankfully, it seems this is not the case at all, as Sony have confirmed to us that “the UK release date for LittleBigPlanet is confirmed as 24th October,” so it seems both sites somehow got their dates mixed up.
In better news, it is now safe to come back out Sackboy, we won’t strangle you, we promise!

Sony said the game is coming out the 24th. I’d trust Sony more than any retail store.

I’d heard it had been recalled… have just seen this on BBC “Game delayed over Koran phrases” (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7679151.stm) So who’s right? Guess I’ll find out this Friday?!

Yeah Monkey, it has being delayed. This was news from Thursday, which then changed Friday, and then changed again later on Friday
