Lips to get update for improved scoring and global leaderboards

Has someone at iNiS been reading our reviews? In our less-than-impressed 5/10 review of Lips, we criticised the scoring system, overly forgiving vibrato recognition and lack of global leaderboards, which happen to be three things that a title update coming next month.

We’ll let you know if we think our review needs updating once we’ve had a chance to play around with the new improved features. In the meantime, Microsoft have also announced some of the upcoming DLC songs for the game, including the first Song Pack (as opposed to individual tracks).

The Coldplay song pack will be on Xbox Live worldwide from 13th March, and includes three melodic tunes, The Scientist, Speed of Sound and In My Place. There’s been no confirmation of pricing yet, but as single tracks usually sell for 160 MS Points, we’re hoping for something around 410 MS Points (£3.50).
