Lego Indy will not be demoed on console

legoindydemo_news.jpg

If you are keeping up to date on everything you’ll have noticed a demo for Lego Indiana Jones was made available for PC yesterday. This is great news as PC owners really need something worthwhile to talk about.

However, it seems the same won’t be happening for console owners as Activision has commented to Eurogamer there will be no console demo for the game.

Having no demo is a very snaky move by Activision. Why did they have to be snakes?

Regardless, Lego Indy will still hit Xbox 360, PC, PS3, PS2, PSP, Wii and DS on 6th June. If you don’t own one of those platforms we have no idea why you are reading this site!

Personally I don’t think I require a demo. I know and love the Lego Star Wars games, so this can only be a good game to buy! I know it’s sometimes dodgy to presume things, but I think I’m safe with this one! :D

Although I am sure I will love this game. I think that Demo’s always help sell a game. I know I will get this game eventually but if they had put up a demo I may have ended up getting it sooner.

For example if I have both a demo for The Simpsons game and Lego Indiana Jones and I find that Lego Indiana Jones is a lot more fun then when I am at the store and I am going to pick up a game I am going to remember that and pick up Lego Indiana Jones over the Simpsons game. I believe demos can only help a game unless it really sucks. ;-)

Oh I agree Wolf26pack, demo’s can definately make purchasing a game easier, I merely meant that for this title, I don’t need a demo to persuade me to pick it up come launch day! :D
