Kojima teaser site counting down to Microsoft’s E3 conference?

Remember we told you that Hideo Kojima would reveal his new title on May 18th? Well it is May 18th today, and that is not exactly what has happened. Instead, even more teases are coming from the subpage on Konami’s official  site, with a countdown clock appearing, and a big “S” or a “5″ showing up.

We have no idea what this means, and it is all to simple to be just a hint for MGS5 we think. However, it seems the teasing will not come to an end when the current clock hits zero, as inquisitive minds on NeoGAF seem to hint we’ll be waiting all the way to June 1st to find out what this is about.

Looking through the coding of the site in Flash, it hints that the current tease will end on 5/22 (May 22nd). The next will end 5/27, and the next will end 5/30. This all builds up to a reveal on 6/1 (June 1st). That date just so happens to be when Microsoft will hold their E3 press conference – although that could just be a coincidence of course!
