Koei To Bring Opoona To Wii
Koei has announced they will be working on bringing a brand new title to Wii; exclusively built for the platform. The games name is Opoona and tells the story of a boy who is investigating mysterious events that left his parents in hospital and his brother and sister missing. Players are then tasked with travelling around the game world and becoming either a rescuer, idol, or detective as they’re challenged to figure out what the hell has happened to the protagonists family.
It is believed the game will offer no Wiimote control and all movement and combat will instead be controlled entirely by the Nunchuck. I personally think this is a good idea as to many games are shoehorning the Wiimote into games for no reason with bad results.
If all the above does not interest you then the fact that Final Fantasy XII’s composer Hitoshi Sakimoto and Dragon Quest’s art lead Shintaro Majima are working on the title could peak your interest.
