Killzone demo to be Gamestop exclusive in US
Through a bit of old fashioned journalism, PS3Fanboy has found out that the only way to get your hands on a demo of Killzone 2 is to preorder the game at Gamestop store in the US. SCEA comment that “[t]he demo will be available on the PSN after the game ships but [it will be available] only through GameStop until then.”
It is currently unknown if the Gamestop exclusivity will continue on to Europe, or some different deal has been done over on this side of the water. We’ll ask Sony and see what they say, but we expect to be disappointed by the answer.

Do Gamestop even exist in Europe? After seeing footage of this on Playr, I must admit my interest has been piqued!

Although GameStop don’t exist in Europe, the GAME stores (no relation) fulfill pretty much the same role as the omnipresent ‘mainstream’ gaming shop. GAME also occasionally get exclusive pre-order offers too.
In regards to Killzone 2, it looks as polished as you’d expect from an FPS that has been four years in the making. Lets hope it brings something new to the table too.
