Killzone 2 now a February 09 release

Although many rumours hinted that the game could be released in the latter half of this year Sony have now confirmed that the Guerrilla Games will be working on Killzone 2 a little bit longer, and it wont be getting released until early 2009.

Speaking at PlayStation Day event earlier today, which is like St Patrick Day, but with people getting even drunker Sony boss David Reeves has announced that the game has now been pencilled in to get “released for PlayStation 3 in February 2009.”

Killzone 2 is the third instalment in the KillZone franchise. The first got a bit of a critical panning, and the second one on the PSP was better received.
