Invites for the StarCraft 2 beta begin

Following the news of the new look Battle.net launch, Blizzard have kicked-off the process of sending out StarCraft II Beta invites.

Starting very soon, if not already underway, randomly selected account holders on the Battle.net service will be getting invitations to play the game in its beta phase.

First news that a beta would happen came to light during an Activision conference call back in February.

Regretfully, the game itself has no 100% confirmed release day as of yet.
