GamesIndustry.biz reports reports that I Am Alive, a game which puts the players in control of Adam Collins during the aftermath of a major-scale earthquake, has been pulled from original developer, Darkworks, and will now be continued in-house at Ubisoft Shanghai
“In order to respect the new launch date for this ambitious title, and Darkworks having other obligations, we have mutually decided to complete development of I Am Alive at Ubisoft Shanghai, as the two studios have collaborated on aspects of the title over the past year,” said Ubisoft in a statement.
“The team at Darkworks has respected its contractual obligations on the project and will be a part of the success of the game when it launches.”
No world on a release date for the game yet, but Ubi previously said they’d be holding of on a release until the financial year ending March 2010. This uprooting of the game will probably cause even more confusion in regards to dating the product.
