High Voltage Software doing online co-op vampire killing FPS for Wii

They may have just revealed Gladiator A.D yesterday, and The Conduit may be just around the corner, but that has not stopped High Voltage Software announcing they will also be doing a co-op centric FPS for Wii.

The game goes by the name The Grinder, and sees players tackling hoards of vampires, werewolves and zombies in four-player online cooperative action. It all sounds very Left 4 Dead to us, although our 10/10 score for that game last year shows that having such company not a bad thing.

We think Left 4 Dead set the standard for this type of game and we fully intend to support four players,” comments CCO of High Voltage Software Eric Nofsinger. “MotionPlus support and swords certainly seem appropriate for an assassin,” he continues.

With so many monsters attacking all at once, you’re going to need somebody covering your back. The Grinder will make the most of its co-op mode, so you can expect to hear about lots of cool multiplayer features as more information becomes available,” remarks the games lead art director Matt Corso.
