Haze demo now available on the PS Store

After being officially announced last week by Sony a demo for Haze has finally gone live, and is now available for download on the Euro PlayStation store. We are not sure about other region stores just yet, we’ll update if the US looks like it got it too. The demo has been made available as part Sony PlayStation Day event, which is kind of like Father’s Day, but with less socks. Single player and co-op options are on show in the demo.

The demo weighs in at 1.5GB and showcases some of the unique gameplay of the long awaited title under the guise of the game jungle themed opening level. The is a little bit of plot in there too, which should no not entice you to pick up the full game upon official release.

The whole Nectar idea is also harked upon, which is an hallucinogenic drug if you have not figured it out already so you can ponder about that while under you banana shaped helmet. Hopefully we are not hallucinating this demo, that would be just terrible.

Oh look, a pink elephant

I just downloaded the demo (it took ages), but when i first loaded it up there was no sound save for this annoying high pitched buzzing sound. I re started the system but it still didn’t work. now i have to re download it.

I downloaded it last night and a had a quick peak this morning…. first impressions are that this looks really impressive! I like the Nectar use, gives it a bit of a Far Cry feel. Gfx look impressive…. I’ll give it a bit more of play through when I get home from work!
